Stop IRS Tax Levy Now – Affordable Back Tax Relief – Former IRS, Settlements

Fresh Start Tax

We can STOP the IRS LEVY. We can stop your levy and settle your case.

Our tax firm is comprised of former IRS Agents, Managers and Instructors.

We have worked out of the local South Florida district, and regional tax offices of the Internal Revenue Service.

We know the exact criteria needed to get same day releases of a Federal Tax Levy, both wage and bank levies.

If you need an immediate release, it only makes sense to hire former IRS agents who know the IRS system. We are highly qualified.

Once we have a current financial statement hand as a general rule we get same day levy releases.
How we get an Immediate Release of Wage or Bank Levy:

1. We immediately send a power of attorney to the IRS letting them know we are now your representative. You will never have to speak them.

2. We will make sure your tax returns are filed and current. If they are not filed, we will prepare and file them for you.

3. We will secure a required 433-F (IRS financial statement), verify the income and expenses and work out a settlement agreement.

4. Settlement agreements can be in different forms:

a. Hardship. Hardship cases usually go into a 3 year suspended status because of an inability to pay. This is also   called currently noncollectable.

b.  Payment Agreements are agreed upon monthly installment payments to the IRS.

c. Offer in Compromise. A much longer and detailed process of tax settlement. We will discuss in detail with you the merits of each.

5. The IRS will then fax to your payroll department, bank, or third party a Release Of Levy.

The IRS is definitely in the business of taking payment agreements if it cannot collect the money any other way. The policy of making monthly installment payments is dictated by a fine tuned chart of allowable month living expenses. You can find this on our website. I would caution anyone trying to do this on their own.  A true tax professional is worth the money and the savings. This is a good investment. You can check with us about getting the lowest possible month payment.

There are certain techniques and strategies to use to ensure you pay what you want and not what the IRS wants. Call us today.

Let me answer some common questions

Question: Can I make installment payments on the amount I owe?

Answer: Yes. If you cannot pay the full amount due as shown on your return, you can ask to make monthly installment payments. If your request to pay in installments is granted, the following conditions apply:
You will be charged a one time user fee of $105.00. If you agree to a direct debit though, the fee will be $52.00.

Interest is charged on any tax not paid by its due date, and

You will be charged a late payment penalty unless you can show reasonable cause for not paying the tax by the due date (April 15, 2010.) For individual income tax returns Penalties will be charged until it reaches 25% of the original balance due and interest will be charged until the account is fully paid.

Before requesting an installment agreement, you should consider less costly alternatives such as a bank loan.

To request an installment agreement send Form 9465 (PDF), Installment Agreement Request, with your return. To request a payroll deduction installment agreement, use Form 2159, Payroll Deduction Agreement.

To request a direct debit Installment Agreement, use Form 433-D, Installment Agreement.

1. Advantages of a direct debit installment agreement to the taxpayer include:

* Reduced user fee
* No check to be mailed
* Postage savings
* No check processing charges
* No problem remembering to make the monthly payment
