The Procedure =  How IRS deals with individuals, businesses and companies that owe payroll taxes

In dealing with the IRS on back taxes it is important to know for any individual, business or payroll tax case that you be current in the tax year you are in. That means if you will owe personal tax you need to make sure your estimate payments or your withholding his current. If you will business taxes you got a make sure your current federal tax deposits are up-to-date.

IRS is going to want to make sure that you can rehabilitate yourself and the key way they do that is making sure you are current in your filing and paying of taxes. If you cannot stay current you are to have a difficult time resolving your situation with the Internal Revenue Service.

The Internal Revenue Service will also want a current financial statement on form 433f, 433a or 433B.

The financial statement IRS will use on your case is determined by who is working the case and how much the dollar amount is. The 433F is the most common financial statement used by the automatic collection unit.

The Internal Revenue Service will want that financial statement completely documented before making their determination.

As a general rule after IRS reviews your case there are one of three closing methods.

IRS will your case into a temporary hardship or suspended status, ask you to make a monthly payment plan or let you know you could be a great tax debt settlement candidate for the offer in compromise program.

It is critical you use a professional tax firm in dealing with this because IRS can be very unreasonable and trying to collect back taxes.

We are A+ rated by the BBB and that in private practice since 1982.
