If you are hiring an Internet Tax Firm have them send you over their retainer package. Look at the IRS form 2848, who’s names are on the form.
If the person on the form is not on the company’s website “ABOUT US PAGE” who are they? If it is blank and those names will be filled in later throw it in the trash.
